LuxVet Group and AMVET Together

CMS

LuxVet Group, one of the leading veterinary networks in Central and Eastern Europe, announces the strategic addition of the highly-specialized and innovative AMVET clinics in Kraków and Gdańsk, founded by the American Heart of Poland (AHP) Group, to its portfolio. Together, we bring world-class expertise and capabilities under one network.

AMVET comprises two advanced veterinary centers in Gdańsk and Kraków, providing care for dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, and exotic animals. The clinics offer a comprehensive patient journey, from preventive care and hygiene, through advanced diagnostics, to 24-hour clinical and hospital care, as well as rehabilitation.

AMVET combines expert medical teams and next-generation diagnostic and treatment facilities. Both clinics have their own laboratories and operating rooms, with full-range diagnostic imaging, including ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and endoscopy. Having all those facilities in one location optimizes treatment time, which is critical in cases requiring urgent intervention and hospitalization.

AMVET facilities are designed to minimize patient stress while ensuring high efficiency for the medical team. This commitment is reflected in the prestigious Cat Friendly Clinic Gold status awarded to the Kraków and Gdańsk locations, the highest international recognition for centers meeting strict requirements for feline care, from dedicated cat-friendly spaces to staff trained in cat-specific handling.

AMVET was established in 2023 as part of the AHP Group, a leader in highly-specialized people-focused medical care within Poland’s public health system, setting standards for advanced healthcare for over 25 years. AHP’s experience, managing over 60 medical facilities nationwide, has allowed AMVET to benefit from proven clinical and operational models developed by the AHP Group, resulting in highly efficient teams, improved treatment outcomes, and the highest safety standards. This enables the AMVET team to provide every patient with professional, comprehensive care.

Creating the concept and brand of AMVET was a project of high personal value for me, but also a strategic one for AHP Group, built on the full transfer of unique know-how from human medicine to the veterinary sector. Our primary goal was to bring the best clinical and operational practices developed at AHP into this new segment. The result is a brand that embodies high standards and comprehensive patient care in its DNA, - says Adam Szlachta, CEO of AHP.

AMVET reflects the growing trend of professionalization in veterinary services in Poland, where pet owners increasingly expect access to advanced diagnostics, innovative medical and surgical procedures, as well as comprehensive postoperative and preventive care.

AMVET is above all about people, the exceptional team that built this organization from scratch, consistently implementing our vision of modern, responsible, and empathetic veterinary care. I am extremely proud of what we have achieved together through hard work and dedication. LuxVet’s vision fully aligns with the direction we set for AMVET and I believe that under the banner of the region’s leading platform, AMVET will continue to grow and raise care standards even higher, - says Barbara Redzisz, President of AMVET on behalf of AHP Group.

AMVET clinics combine veterinary expertise developed to-date with AHP Group’s professional standards to offer a safe, modern and consistent treatment environment where every patient gets dedicated medical attention and owners get full support from specialists at every stage.

Integrating AMVET with the LuxVet Group is a milestone in our growth and consolidation journey in Central and Eastern Europe. The transaction strengthens our competencies in highly specialized diagnostics and referral-level medicine, while also increasing operational scale and potential for further market consolidation. We see significant operational, clinical, and investment synergies that will accelerate the development of top-tier specialized services across the Group and enhance access to modern veterinary care for our clients nationwide. We are consistently executing our strategy to build the leading veterinary platform in the region, founded on medical quality and operational efficiency, - says Piotr Zajączkowski, CEO of LuxVet Group.

This transaction reflects the next stage of our strategy, focusing on consolidating the best and largest veterinary clinics and existing clinic networks, reinforcing our position as the undisputed leader not only in Poland but also across Central and Eastern Europe, - says Paweł Kaoka, M&A Director at LuxVet Group.
