Cornerstone Partners, a leading private equity investment management business, is continuously expanding its portfolio. With new projects in Europe, Cornerstone decided to strengthen the team with two highly experienced professionals. Darius Divwalla joined as Co-Managing Partner and Karol Klin as Chief Commercial Officer.
Darius Divwalla has over 20 years' experience in real estate investment. Before joining Cornerstone, he spent 13 years at Chelsfield (property developer, investor, and asset manager) with its H.Q. in London and offices in Paris, New York, and throughout Asia and was its Group CIO. Prior he worked for Henderson Global Investors (now Nuveen), creating the pan-European Outlet Mall Fund. Darius is a member of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) and has a degree from City University in Real Estate and Finance.
At Cornerstone Partners, Mr. Divwalla will be responsible for developing new opportunities in the real estate sector through Europe.
Karol Klin, with 20 years' experience in CEE's commercial real estate sector, comes to Cornerstone Partners from Globalworth, where he worked as Head of Leasing. Before that, he used to be responsible for leasing activities in international and local investors like GTC, Skanska Property, and Echo Investment. Karol's professional experience includes working for real estate agents such as JLL and CBRE. Karol Klin is a licensed broker and property manager. He is a member of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) and holds a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) certificate.
At Cornerstone Partners, Mr. Klin will be responsible for developing relationships with tenants and implementing a long-term commercial property strategy in CPP's portfolio.
