Cornerstone Investment Management acquires Warta Tower - the iconic office building in Warsaw - from Globalworth. The acquisition is the beginning of the transformation process to create a modern, healthy and user-friendly building that will provide the most technologically advanced solutions to its tenants.

Warta Tower is the most recognizable office building in Warsaw CBD with over 32 thousand square meters of office space. The refurbishment works, post-COVID solutions, large car parking and newest smart technology will put Warta building back on the map of Warsaw CBD, as the most advanced, sustainable office project available on the market.

‘We are glad to have finalized this acquisition. The plan for the refurbishment also includes a newly designed ESG strategy that will allow us to create a perfect destination on the office map of Warsaw‘ said Przemysław Pikus – Partner at Cornerstone Investment Management. ‘The new project will allow us to provide Warta Tower tenants with a comfortable and modern workplace.’

The redevelopment concept will not only deliver state-of-the-art designed facilities and features but also focus on implementing an ESG strategy which will be key in every aspect of the project. Making Warta Tower the building that delivers an exceptional user experience, smart solutions that meet the needs of modern business operations, is cost efficient and meets high standards of sustainability - obtaining all necessary certificates.

The finalisation of the refurbishment is planned for 2025. New tenants that already announced to move their office to Warta Tower are very curious about the solutions and ESG elements implemented in the building. The early declarations from companies show that the project is going to be a very strong competitor on the office market.

Warta Tower also plays a significant role in the face of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Since February 2022 it has been reorganised into one of the biggest refugee centers in Warsaw. And from the very beginning Cornerstone actively participated in the refugee project, which only reflects the commitment it has in humanitarian undertakings. Part of the company’s mission and strong belief is that being involved in charitable and environmental issues have a positive impact on the economy and should be one of the goals of every business.
